Max Kanat-Alexander is the author of Code Simplicity: The Science of Software Development, published by O’Reilly Media, and Understanding Software, published by Packt.
During the day, Max is an Executive Distinguished Engineer at Capital One, working on Developer Productivity. Before that, he worked at LinkedIn as one of the tech leads of the Developer Productivity and Happiness Team. He was also formerly the Technical Lead for Code Health at Google. Note that this blog represents Max’s personal communications and does not reflect the opinions of any of his current or previous employers.
